Top 10 Books of 2012

This is a great time of year to look back and contemplate the best reads and its always so hard to choose. There were several more that I would have loved to have added to this list, but I've managed to be touch and narrow it down. I've been priviledged to read many great books by indie authors over the past year. Here is the list of my favorites this year.

This is the only non-fiction account on my list and one of my very favorites. Its also going to be up for grabs in the upcoming blog hop. You can find my review here.

This is the first of the Veetu Industries series and my first steampunk novel. It definitely got my attention from the begining and I fell in love with this series. You can find my review here.

This is the first in the Ginecean Chronicles and this one along with its sequel Pax in the Land of Women are at the top of my top ten list. They are just that good. This series tells of an alternate universe where women rule and men are slaves and heterosexual couples are taboo. This is an awesome series I would recommend to anyone. You can find my review here for Preist and here for Pax.

This was a truly awesome read. It gives a fictional account of the creation of the angels and Lucifer's fall from grace. You can find my review here.

This one is a great historical fiction about the lost colony of Roanoke. I've always been fascinated by mysteries like this and I thought this one was a great take on it. Here is my review.

My list wouldn't be complete without an entry from the erotica genre. This one is from the Lords of Satyr series and this one is my favorite out of the first three. Its not one for everyone but I loved it. My review can be found here.

Tallula Rising is probably my favorite of the horror genre this year. Its the sequel to the Last Werewolf and every bit as good. Once again, its not for everyone, but I loved it. You can find my review here.

This is the first in the Dragonslayer series and once again its a great series. If you like dragons and magic this is not a series to miss. You can check out my review here.

This is an awesome tale of the parentage of King Author. We often hear about the tales of King Author but may not know so much about his father Uther Pendragon. You can find my review here.

This one is a middle grade age book but one that I couldn't put down once I started. I picked it up at a book store one day while I was waiting on someone and couldn't walk out without it. This one is a great read for any age. And here is my review.

There were a few more that I really wanted to add to this list so I shall list them as honorable mentions with links to my reviews.
